- Launch your microsoft oultook.
- From the top left menu click 'File'.
- From account information click 'Add Account'.
- Enter your email address.
- Click 'Advanced Options', check ‘Let me setup my account manually’ and click the button ‘Connect’.
- Under 'Advanced Setup', select 'IMAP'.
- Under 'IMAP Account Settings', change server name to 'mail.domain.co.za' (replace domain with your domain name) for the Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP).
- Change Incoming Mail Server Port to 993.
- Change Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Port to 465 or 587.
- Encryption method select 'SSL/TLS'.
- Check the box under Outgoing Mail ‘Require logon using secure Password Authentication(SPA)’ as it is our current mail server policy to allow sending from the mail client.
- Click the button ‘Next’.
- Enter your password, click 'Connect'.
- Email account added successfully in Microsoft Outlook and is ready to use.
